FAQ
Straight answers for firms.
How firm engagements work, what HearthRC Defense includes, where the Hearth Legacy Program fits, and how client data is handled. If it's not here, one conversation covers the rest.
01
For CPA firms
What's the first engagement?
You pick from the S-corp clients you already serve; we produce HearthRC Defense reports on wholesale terms; your firm reviews, brands, and bills them. Everything else waits until your clients call for it.
Do you take my client?
No. Client-of-record and no-poach terms go in writing before any client is engaged. The engagement letter stays with your firm.
What's in a HearthRC Defense report?
Three independent methods (Cost, Market, Income) reconciled into one documented figure, built around the nine factors examiners weigh, plus the methodology narrative, stress tests, and corporate-minutes language. We never call anything audit-proof or IRS-approved.
Where does the Hearth Legacy Program sit?
It's for a firm's best clients, when their situation has outgrown compliance work. It's offered selectively. Economics are shared during qualification.
Is there a volume requirement or exclusivity?
Neither. Most firms know after the first engagement. Public pricing is on the pricing page; the wholesale sheet for partner firms is in the partner kit.
02
Outcomes and the tax side
What does a savings figure actually mean?
A measured average on referred cases, never a promise of your result. The cohort, baseline, projected-vs-realized, and net-of-fees detail lives on the savings-analysis page.
Is the work audit-ready?
The work is grounded in named code sections and a documented business purpose, and it's reviewed before anyone relies on it. We describe it as documented and defensible. We never claim audit-proof, IRS-approved, guaranteed, or loophole outcomes.
Who signs the professional work?
McGee's Consulting LLC, led by Terence McGee, EA, is the accounting and tax firm of record for work delivered on that side. Partner firms keep their own clients. See how delivery is governed.
03
Security and AI
How is client data handled?
Consent under IRC §7216 per data flow, a written security program aligned to the FTC Safeguards Rule, and separation between workflow data and tax documents. Tax material stays in the professional firm's controlled environment.
Do you publish what the AI tools see?
Yes. The AI-disclosure page lists tools by category, what data they see, and where a named professional reviews the output first.
Question we didn't cover?
Ask it on the start page. A person reads it and answers straight.
